TRUST AND OBEY GOD

“You shall be blessed above all peoples”. (Deuteronomy 7:14)

The book of Deuteronomy chapter 7 speaks about God’s commands to conquer and obey. The Israelites were commanded to follow God’s statutes to keep themselves away from all the works of evil. When they obey, all God’s blessings will be showered in their lives. It, thus so happened. Likewise, when we follow God’s commands in our lives, we will be blessed too. If you are waiting for a blessing and have still not received it. Be patient, our loving God is a faithful God too. What He has promised to bless you with, He will surely bring to pass in your life. The work of sanctification is carried on gradually but at length of time there will be a complete victory.

SCRIPTURE to LIFE

We see in the Bible that even Peter listened to God and carried out the ministry knowing the will of God. That is why, even while he was preaching the word of Christ, the Holy Spirit descended and performed glorious acts. Thousands were saved in his sermon. When you thus humble yourself and pray asking God to guide you in your life, He will lead you in justice and teach you His ways. You will prosper in every step you take. Obedience is the key to every blessing from God. 

Prayer:

Loving Father, Your word says that Your paths are full of mercy and truth. I humble myself before Your throne. Lead me in Your truth and teach me Your paths so that I may walk in righteousness and be blessed in all my endeavors.
