HE WHO BELIEVES IN THE LORD SHALL NEVER THIRST!

"As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God." (Psalm 42:1)

The Lord lovingly tells us, “Ask and you shall receive that your joy may be full” (John 16:24). Yes! The word “ask” may mean the deed that results from “thirst” or “desire”. David reveals his spiritual thirst and desire when he says, “As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God” (Psalm 42:1). Today, do we have such divine thirst or desire in our lives? Come to Jesus and wait upon Him with an unshakable faith and the Lord will honour your faith. When we think about 'thirst', it indicates a 'need'. Similarly, we need Jesus to have eternal life. “And Jesus said to them, ‘I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.’”(John 6:35). This, my dear child of God, is the promise that our Savior has sworn unto us.  

Dearly beloved reader! You should ask the Lord with the same spiritual thirst and faith. The Lord will fill you as an individual and as a family and use you for His glory. Your desire to know God and His greatness will be fulfilled through Jesus Christ. As you believe in Jesus and receive Him in your heart, He will start to work wonders in your life. You will no longer be the same when you accept Jesus as your personal Savior. It is only through Him we can receive the treasures that the world had not seen; a life eternal in the presence of God! Jesus will reveal to you 'the path of life' according to the promise "You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever." (Psalm 16:11)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father! You give the Living Water to those who have the thirst. Fill my life too with Your glory and power. In the glorious and powerful name of our Lord Jesus Christ I pray, O Father, Amen.
